Endowment and
Capital Giving

Thank you!

Loyalty Circle membership recognizes the school’s most loyal and generous supporters. Donors who have contributed more than $50,000 in their lifetime become permanent members at the Leadership level. When you establish a life-income gift or provide for NMH through an estate plan, you become a member of the Lamplighter Society. Learn more about the Loyalty Circle.

Northfield Mount Hermon is grateful for our community’s ongoing trust and investment in our enduring values of educating the head, heart, and hand. Find more information about our commitment to donor and financial stewardship at Reports and Recognition.

A healthy, growing endowment is critical to securing the financial sustainability of Northfield Mount Hermon. Endowment makes permanent the values of alums and families and provides steady support for the school’s current and future needs, while preserving real value for future generations.

The NMH endowment provides critical funding to support student scholarship aid, faculty compensation and professional development, special programs, and campus operations. Tuition at NMH provides 75% of the operating revenues to cover the full cost to educate our students. The remainder comes from endowment income (12%), annual giving (9%), and auxiliary programs and fees (4%).

Naming opportunities exist for endowed scholarships, faculty chairs, faculty professional development, campus construction and improvement projects, and unrestricted endowment
